Federal Government Being Sued Over Healthcare
State attorney generals are suing the Federal Government due to the legislation's requirement that individuals buy health insurance exceeds the federal government's power to regulate interstate commerce under the U.S. Constitution. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, along with thirteen other state attorney generals are jointly suing in Florida. As soon as Obama had signed the healthcare legislation into law yesterday, they instantly made their way to stop the measure.
